December 17th, 2012 we launched the “Blogson” Niche Blogging Sites. We now have over 30 Niche Sites but, upkeep and promotions on these sites cost a lot.
I am 70 years old. It was my idea to build these sites in hopes of supplementing my meager Social Security income. I am not looking to get rich – just to live a decent lifestyle. I am asking all the members of Blogson to support these sites by donating what you can to keep us online and providing the helpful information, tips and guidelines our readers benefit from.
Please visit your membership site and donate what you can. All donations will be recorded and proper receipts issued to all participants.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

One of the best ways to build your online presence is with a blog. Creating a positive online reputation through blog posting can lead to many opportunities. Blogging can make your small business more profitable. There is also a chance that you could be paid to write blogs for another website. Read this article to educate yourself more on running a blog.
Make your readers feel as if you are ever present for them. Become a habit that your readers don’t want to do without. Your readers will start to expect your company on a regular basis once you forge these connections with them. If you feel like your blog is not something you want to continue with, think about all the people who follow you and how they will be disappointed.
Your blog should use search engine optimization. You need to keep your blog high in the page ranks so that people can find it. Your posts should include relevant keywords in the title.
Purchase a domain name instead of using a site that is free. It is fairly inexpensive to purchase your own name, and it will give you a more professional appearance. People will be able to remember it more easily, particularly if the title includes your business name or other words that relate to the subject.
Your blog should concentrate on something that will excite readers’ interest. Everybody does chores like cleaning the house and washing the laundry. Most readers aren’t going to be interested in reading about these chores. Of course, if you can present a unique spin on doing chores, go for it. It should always be clear from your writing why you believe your chosen subject matter would be interesting for your readers. After all, your ultimate goal with writing a blog is to get people to your website.
Include images in your blog posts. There is a lot of truth to the old adage that one picture is more valuable then a thousand words. For blog content, this is definitely the case. You want people to be interested enough to read your post and also get an idea of what the post is about before reading the entire thing. As such, be sure you use lots of images on your blog.
Now, you probably understand writing a blog better, and you now know how to use it in order to increase your income or get your business known. While it’s vital that you understand all of this information, feel free to re-read it for clarification.
A crucial area to help build your online presence is through the art of blogging. Writing A Blog and win you friends, and for some even help their career. A quality blog opens many eyes. Try being there for readers regularly. Connections are important in the online world, and this is especially true when you are writing a blog. When you connect with your blog readers, they will expect that you will be around. When you feel unmotivated to continue with blogging, you might find the push you need to keep going by reminding yourself that you won’t be the only one who is disappointed.
Make sure your posts are brief yet to the point. While you still have to provide enough detail to inform your readers, overly long and wordy posts will bore your readers and drive them away. Readers don’t care about lengthy descriptions, they want you to get to the point quickly so they can learn what they came to find out. They are looking for the information they seek, not the frilly decorations.
Embed pictures into your posts. Are you aware of the saying that a picture contains a thousand words? This saying holds true, even in the blogosphere. Images can communicate a lot more than simply words. You want to make sure that you include as many images as you can.
Guests posts are a great way to build your blog. This helps you develop relationships with other blog owners and can come in helpful. Cultivating quality relationships may allow you to reap unexpected rewards. If you ever have a problem, the guest blogger may be able to help you.
Let your readers post comments and let them know what you think of what they say. You can develop a good relationship with readers this way and become more active in your running a blog community. If readers see you reply to viewer comments, they will come back to your site hoping to read a response.
You should have a better concept of blog posting and the ways it’s used to grow businesses, make money or enhance online reputations. Carefully read the material that is presented above. Reread it if necessary. It should go a long way towards helping you achieve your blog posting goals.
Every day it seems new technologies come out which connect our world even more tightly, changing how we communicate with one another. If you want to learn about the current big trend of blog posting, this article is the perfect resource.
Do not rely to heavily on keywords, Adsense ads, plug-ins, or images. If you do, your blog could get removed from the major search engines, negating all the hard work you’ve done so far. Write naturally, and make sure that your blog posts are easy to read.
Use lists in your blog posts. Whether you’re blogging about romance novels; the ingredients required to make a recipe; or how to repair a refrigerator; a list is very important. A list will provide the reader with your content in a visually appealing and easy to digest format.
Let your readers post and respond to comments on your blog. This will help you to bond with your readers. This is usually one of the most popular and active features of any blog. If people see that you respond to comments, they will return after making a comment to read your response.
Strive to be patient as you wait for your readership to grow. People won’t discover your blog overnight. Content is key to gain readers, and it will take a bit of time to have a broad range of content to attract large numbers of readers. The older your blog and the larger amount of content you have, the more readers will see it and visit regularly.
When you start to blog, it is important to select subject matter that truly fascinates you. It is easier to write things that you care about. It will give your writing more weight and sincerity. This perception will allow your readers to form a bond with you and they will keep your blog alive.
Remember that individuals all around the world could see your blog. Anyone and everyone has access to your blog and by extension to your thoughts. You need to remember the impact of your blog posts since potentially so many people are reading it at a given moment.
